Ronnie Hawkins
(Cotillion / SD 9019 / 1970 / US)

Legendary rocker Ronnie Hawkins, who led "The Hawks," the band that would later become The Band, and was active since the 60s. This is his seventh album from 1970.

Recorded at Muscle Shoals. Produced by Jerry Wexler and Tom Dowd, with Duane Allman and Eddie Hinton participating – a perfect combination. It opens with Dylan's "ONE MORE NIGHT," followed by Carl Perkins' "MACHBOX," Chuck Berry's "FORTY DAYS," and Dylan's "ONE TOO MANY MORNINGS," among other classic covers.

The Muscle Shoals crew, including Jimmy Johnson, David Hood, Roger Hawkins, and Barry Beckett, provide the backing.

US Cotillion original.
Cut on the upper left corner.
Beautiful jacket with no scratches.
Both the jacket and the record play well.
