Our silky wool batts use an East Coast sheep wool blend and are processed at a mill using a historic 1865 carding machine, once run with a water wheel, and converted to electric. The mill has been in operation since 1969 carding raw wool into these wonderful carded batts. The batts are ideal for stuffing dolls and felted items, and serve as affordable core wool for needle felting, letting you reserve colored wool for your final designs. It is a long, soft fibered wool in natural offwhite.
