Includes an impedance-matching endpin preamp for absolutely accurate sound into any instrument amplifier, direct box or mixing console. Required onboard 9V battery. Outstanding 'reso' tone is achieved with a pickup that fastens to the center of the cone for both 'spider' and 'biscuit' style bridges. An impedance-matching preamp is recommended, but not required.
