When this oversized, super cool rocket leaves the launch pad everyone will be watching as it bolts to over 900 ' (274 m) when powered by Estes C11-3 or D12-5 engines. It returns safely on a large 18 " (46 cm) preassembled parachute. This giant, easy to build Skill Level 1 rocket stands 2-1/2 ' (76.2 cm) tall. The StormCaster has a two piece slotted body tube, laser cut balsa fins, molded nose cone and colorful self-stick decals. This thunderbolt is great for beginners who are looking for awesome, high altitude performance in a remarkably streamlined rocket. Cutting, sanding and painting required. Building tools, finishing supplies, Estes engines, launch supplies and 4 AA batteries (for your controller) are needed - sold separately. A 3/16-" (5 mm) Estes Maxi Launch rod is also required - sold separately. Recommended for ages 10 and up with adult supervision for those under 12.
